Lymon is pleased to be one of the conference sponsors of SVCA ESG & Impact Conference 2019, featuring our Managing Director, Lee Yishan as a panelist speaker.
On 8 October 2019, the Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (SVCA) hosted an inaugural conference with a focus on Empowering Sustainable Growth. This theme showcased impactful investments by private equity while bringing together fresh perspectives and exclusive Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Impact investment insights from decision-makers and movers in the VC and PE industry.
“Global challenges like climate change, resource scarcity, automation and AI will impact the operating environment of our portfolio companies. Companies that don’t adapt their business models will face increasing public, legal and regulatory pressure and are at risk of becoming obsolete. To ensure that we consider how these challenges affect our companies, we implemented a framework to incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance considerations in every investment decision we make.” –Lim Boon Heng, Chairman of Temasek
Highlights of the conference included unique case study presentations and practical due diligence issues. Panelists also conversed on topics encompassing the impact of sustainability on valuation opportunities in Asia and the outcomes of impact investing.
